Oxymorons

Oxymorons - Adventures in Contradictions is a studio project in which two designers explored the concept of oxymorons.  We took an old folk poem called 'One Fine Day In The Middle Of The Night' and divided the poem between the two designers, forcing them to share the spreads.  Each designed completely isolated from the other so that book itself is an 'organised mess' of contradictory styles.

The book was featured in the Anti Design Festival, curated by Neville Brody  in London.  The festival was dedicated to challenging work that was either rejected by clients or never part of a commercial project.  Also shown at the festival was the 'Create!' typeface.
